Howl

Grabbed a photo of a wolf I found on Google and decided to have a crack at painting it. Trying to grow as much as I can as a painter. Had lots of fun doing this! :)

Got inspired to do this after seeing the final trailer of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 a while back.

Big Guy

Finally got my new Intuos today, and I started messing around with it, and this is what happened :D. It's slightly exaggerated (or just plain anatomically incorrect, depending on how you look at it). It's also very Aaron Blaise-inspired. You can check out his awesome stuff here .

Staff Maneuver

Staff Manoeuvre Tie Down from kwabena sarfo on Vimeo.

I've been working on this on and off for quite a few months now. I decided to knuckle down and finish it off over the weekend. Was lots of fun to do! :)

Here's to the Festive Season :)

Here's the short I helped to direct at Bugbox Animation earlier this year :) It was a project that was done almost entirely by the interns (of which I was one of them :)) at the studio. It was definitely a learning and growing experience for me on just about every level (directing, animation, storyboarding, etc.), and I'm very grateful for it :) Especially as my first ever animation directorial gig! There's definitely still room for some more growth, though...

Oh, just a quick synopsis of the story: it's about a kid named Toby whose best buddy is Jesus. The story is part of 'The Adventures of Toby'   series of short films, and for those unfamiliar with the premise of the films, Jesus lives in Toby's heart, and as his best friend he's always there for Toby during the tough times. In this particular story, Jesus shows Toby the true meaning of Christmas in a very upbeat and unconventional way! Enjoy! Any feedback is appreciated :)

Well done to the team! :)
